Strength & Conditioning
Madison, WI

At Unbound Performance, I offer personal training for recreational athletes, adventurers, and active adults who want to get stronger, move better, and perform at their best. I'm here to guide, challenge, and motivate you through a truly custom program — so whether you're playing tennis on the weekend or competing in a gravel race up north, your training gets you there.

Ben Minnis
A note from your coach.

Hey, I'm Coach Ben. I've made it my mission to help my clients build the physical foundation to keep doing the things they love at full capacity.

I'm a firm believer in staying strong, mobile, and capable because life's too short to let your body hold you back from the sports and adventures that make it worth living. That's the whole idea behind Unbound Performance.

When I'm not in the gym, you'll find me on the gravel bike, on the trail, or on the water. I train for the same reasons my clients do — because the best things in life are worth training for.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Ben

Built in the gym.
Proven everywhere else.

Getting stronger in the gym is the means, not the end. What matters is what happens outside of it — on the bike, on the mountain, on the court, and everywhere else life takes you. Here's what my clients have done with their training.

Training that
transfers.

Every program I build starts with you — your injury history, your workout experience, your sport, your goals, and your schedule. Nothing is templated. Nothing is assumed.

But the foundation stays the same for every client. Four pillars that every active life depends on — strength, mobility, power, and capacity. Train all four and you show up better at every sport you love.

Active people.
Real results.

Let's get to work.

What makes
this different.
This isn't a template.

Before I write a single exercise, I take note of everything — your injury history, your workout experience, how your body actually moves, the sport you play, your goals, and your schedule. Nothing is assumed. Nothing is templated. What you get is a program built specifically for you and nobody else.

This isn't just strength training.

Your program goes beyond strength training. I build around all four pillars — strength, mobility, power, and capacity — because all four show up in your sport. Your range of motion gets trained. Your stability gets trained. Your aerobic engine gets trained. It's a complete system, not a workout plan.

This isn't something you do alone.

I keep you accountable, track your progress, and adjust your program as you improve. Consistency is where results come from — and having a coach who's genuinely invested in your performance makes all the difference.
